Slambarz Presents: The Next Wave - VOL. 1

We’re delighted to invite you to Slambarz Presents: The Next Wave Vol. 1, taking place at Sidney & Matilda on Monday 19th October, in collaboration with Off the Shelf Festival of Words.

This marks our first dedicated Slambarz home show in Sheffield in almost two years, following our previous events at The Leadmill.

The Next Wave has been created to provide a platform for emerging artists, while connecting young talent with established creative communities from across the UK.

The evening will feature five emerging Sheffield artists, each given the opportunity to perform and introduce their music to a live audience.

We’ll also welcome three collectives we’ve connected with through our work across the country this year:

Two2’s Notts — Nottingham
Back Yours — London
Us Neva Dem — Manchester

The evening will conclude with a collaborative cypher, bringing artists from Sheffield, Nottingham, London and Manchester together on one stage and celebrating lyricism, collaboration and the strength of grassroots music communities.
