Jon Gomm

Voted “World’s Best Acoustic Guitarist” in an online poll conducted by Music Radar/Guitar World magazine, singer, songwriter, acoustic solo performer Jon Gomm is known for his once seen never forgotten virtuoso guitar style. It’s a style that  involves slapping, tapping and retuning as he plays producing a huge, multi layered sound filled with bass, drums and near orchestral depth and complexity from a single guitar. His live performances are intimate and powerful, but always punctured by his North of England wit and self deprecation.

Ibanez launched the JGM10 and JGM5 Jon Gomm Signature Guitars in 2021. He’s only the third guitarist to ever design a signature acoustic with Ibenez the previous 2 being Steve Vai and Joe Satriani.
